About the Coaches

Jane Haglund, coach i Team Bodily

Coach Jane

Jane, 41 years old, lives on Värmdö outside Stockholm but originally comes from Österlen in Skåne. I am a civil engineer, work with requirements, system development and project management and have for over 10 years also had a company as a photographer as a sideline. I am a parent of two small fantastic trolls of almost 5 and 6 years, have a dog and celebrate a tin wedding in July (10 years).

Tell us something special about yourself!

I have hang-glided over Rio de Janeiro, eaten fried grasshoppers in Mexico, climbed Kebnekaise and walked on hot coals.

Best thing about Bodily?

Wow. Big and difficult question! My biggest win has probably been to really find the home workout and to show myself the power and greatness of the small - it doesn't have to be an hour at the gym to be worthwhile or effective.

Your journey?

After two children close together, and the fact that I didn't have control over my body so that I couldn't move as I wanted, I no longer recognized myself. It was hard. I had surgery for my diastasis and a year later Karin asked me if I would like to join Bodily. I was going to say no, but decided to use my health care allowance and give it a try. It was my best decision! I got excited right away, felt how good it was for me, and have just kept going ever since.

Hard to change your diet?

No, I don't think so. I had a lot of sugar cravings in the beginning of The Changer, but then it was also very new and exciting so the motivation was at its peak and I got through it. The bodily diet suits me very well and I feel very good about it.

Best recipe?

I love the green smoothie with mango. Both as it is, but also to adapt it to what I have at home in the garden.

Why did you choose to become a coach?

I love seeing people push their limits! I find it fun to be able to inspire others and to share my strengths.

What is your best advice for a brand new participant?

Don't think too much, just go for it! I know that you have a lot of questions in the beginning, but just follow the program and rest in the fact that someone else has thought for you. Things will fall into place, you'll get your answers eventually. Enjoy not having to think and just doing for a while!

Elin Bohman, coach i Team Bodily

Kim Truedsson, Coach i Team Bodily

Coach Kim

My name is Kim Truedsson and I am 34 years old. Together with my husband and two children aged 5 and 3, I live in a small townhouse in Örebro. I work as a nurse in occupational health care, (the world's best job!) where I, with the workplace as an arena, get to work with preventive health measures.

Tell us something special about yourself!

In my teens, I was a drummer in a rock band called Yellow Shoes. Most people probably see me as a sports girl with handball at the forefront, but music was and is a big part of my life where, in addition to my short "career" as a drummer, I was involved in musicals, playing the violin and singing.

What is the best thing about Bodily?

The three H's.

  1. Sustainable - No one talks quick fixes, the program focuses on creating sustainable habits.
  2. Holistic concept - Bodily takes into account the whole picture - diet, exercise and recovery.
  3. Home-friendly - for me it was the big "prize-winner" thing, that I could get simple but effective training in the living room, garden and around the corner, which meant that I got it done despite the tight everyday puzzle.

How has your "journey" been?

Bodily was a game-changer for me. I remember when I decided to go with The Changer. I had come to a point where I simply accepted and acknowledged that I couldn't quite get my lifestyle habits right on my own.

I had a lot of theoretical knowledge but couldn't put it into practice. So I accepted that I needed help and that I wanted to invest in myself. In this way, I saw it as lowering the bar by participating. That is, I recognized that I didn't have the power, energy and focus to make the change on my own. So I chose to just go along and trust the program. And what a journey it was!

Tough? Yes, it was! It's tough to make a change but it was manageable, which meant that with small steps at a time (sometimes light and sometimes heavy) I made progress and with each step my confidence and strength grew. I arrived at the finish line stronger than ever both mentally and physically. More energetic, less bloated. My back problems disappeared. I had more energy and stamina. In addition, the desire and joy of training was back, and this was huge for me.

I learned so much about myself and got lots of tools and keys to sustainable lifestyle habits that I wouldn't have discovered otherwise and that I still have with me in my everyday life.

Was it difficult to change your diet?

It was a challenge, you have so many habits established in you, etc. But when you got into it, it felt so natural. It was in the kitchen that I struggled - but also learned the most. We also had small children, so we had to do a bit of a puzzle to suit everyone. Eating six times a day is the most natural thing now, I don't know how I managed when I wasn't doing it!

Do you have a favorite recipe?

The salmon steaks! But all snacks are also wonderful - green smoothie, granola, and raspberry muffins are just a few!

Why did you choose to become a coach?

I love helping, encouraging and coaching others to find keys in training that make it even more fun and rewarding. Turning a: "I can't" to a: "I DID IT!". I also think training itself is so much fun and like to find good and educational ways to teach this. In my role as a coach, I get to both coach participants but also support and coach my team so that together we lift the participants in the best way.

Eva Berholt, coach i Team Bodily

Coach Eva

My name is Eva Berholt and I am 61 years old and have been living since 2013 on beautiful Hönö outside Gothenburg together with Ingemar. I have two adult daughters both living in Stockholm and two lovely little grandchildren. I work as an economist and administrator at an independent school in Kullavik just south of Gothenburg so I have some commuting every week.

Tell us something special about yourself!

I have always trained and you could say that I was born with ballet shoes on my feet and from the age of seven they were replaced by figure skates. Then, in the 80s, rails were replaced by wheels and I won the 1st prize in a local competition as Gothenburg's best roller skater after presenting a number on wheels that might have been better performed with rails under my feet.

These days I prefer sports that make my hair flutter in the wind, such as downhill skiing, cross-country skiing and cycling.

What is the best thing about Bodily?

The best thing about Bodily is the professional package solution with diet and training, all gathered in one small app and the fantastic community you get in the community. The freedom to be able to plan and set up routines so that they suit me and my strange times I have with my commute.

I love the setup of the concept, to work out a little every day and to have all the workouts served like on a smorgasbord. I always try to do the daily ones in the mornings and the others after work. The best thing about training with ropes is that you can train almost everywhere with them. For example, they fit perfectly in a bicycle basket if I want to combine a bike session with a rope session and also in a medium-sized backpack and have had to accompany me on my trips by car, boat and train.

I feel so safe with the Bodily approach and get help if I need it. The exercises that are too hard can easily be adapted to suit me.

We all get into slumps from time to time and then it feels so safe and comforting to have someone or some people who encourage me and get me on track again.

The food is fantastic. Varied and fun recipes that are easy to prepare. As well as previous favorites before Bodily, now Bodily's recipes have clearly won my heart.

We eat clean spicy food with the base of poultry, fish and vegetarian and get recipes that have now taught me how to modify my own old ones to make them right for me. This is so easy now and I don't think Bodily when I cook anymore but just do.... What, this is not a diet...? but just a new way to think and do!!! So awesome!

How has your "journey" been?

I started my first 10 weeks with The Changer I was very skeptical in the beginning and hesitated if this would be too tough a program for me. I had had a severe "form slump" the last two years 19/20 and had difficulty finding motivation and desire for training and for better dietary habits. Was in Covid and was really scratchy after 10 days with high fever and cough when I discovered Bodily on Facebook. Got in touch with Karin and it took three weeks before I decided. Once I did, it just rolled on and since then I am completely stuck.

After 10 weeks I had lost two clothing sizes and felt so much stronger than I ever have in the last 20 years. The pain in my back disappeared and I became so much more flexible and mobile. I love my new routine and diet and feel so much better in my whole "system".

Was it difficult to change your diet?

In the beginning I thought it would be harder than it is. Having time to eat six times a day and plan and prepare all meals was my biggest challenge in the beginning, but after just one week I was into it and it flowed.

It's all about planning and thinking smart. Cook in bulk and freeze. If you do that, you have freed up so much time where you were previously tired and stressed about what to eat, shopping and spending a lot of time in the kitchen.

Do you have a favorite recipe?

I have many favorites, but Bodily's own Granola is a must, as well as the salmon steaks that you can make many of and freeze. Then everything that comes from the sea is perfect for Bodily's recipes.

Why did you choose to become a coach?

I am passionate about training and enthusing others to reach new desired goals related to well-being. I like to share things that I myself feel good about and have succeeded with. Being a coach in Bodily is a privilege as you get so much back. Have met and gotten to know so many new like-minded people, both participants and other coaches and mentors in Team Bodily.

Why is it important for me to exercise and eat right?

When you get to my age of 61+, it is no longer as easy to find routines that work and give results. For me it is important to stay fit as I want to age as a strong, healthy and still functioning person for as long as possible.

I have always been told that in menopause it is more difficult to get rid of fat, that you should accept the body you have and age with dignity. For me, it does not feel worthy to be big and round, stiff and sore in the back, shoulders and knees. I have all the respect for people with various diseases but also know now that even if you have it, you can change your well-being somewhat and adapt routines to your own conditions no matter how different they may look for different people.

I now know that it is actually possible to do something about my well-being even far beyond my own age. I have living proof of this after these 1 1/2 years as a Coach in Bodily and that is why I continue, because I know that everyone can do something if they just want to and it is my task to lead them there, to their desired and set goals.

Lotta Egnell, coach i Team Bodily

Coach Lotta

My name is Lotta and I am 48 years old. I live in Gothenburg and work as a dental technician in a laboratory. My children are now 17 and 19 years old, which has given me more free time. I have chosen to spend that time on my own health and on my involvement in Bodily. I have always exercised and eaten healthy food, but the new diet and exercise habits I have learned with Bodily have made me stronger and taken me to a new level of wellness.

Tell us something special about yourself!

I love challenges and in the fall I will do a personal best in the mile. I love adventure, I used to train hop when I was younger and my best travel memory is from a mountain hike in Nepal. I'm very curious and fearless - anyone who dares to try it. The Changer is.

What is the best thing about Bodily?

The best thing about Bodily is that you get structure and order in your diet and training. You feel safe with Karin as a coach. I trust her, and have received lots of individual advice. All bodies are different, but Karin sees what is needed. A back is crooked, someone has a sore knee and a third is struggling with the diet, Karin supports everywhere.

What has your "journey" been like?

I googled "diet and exercise programs" last spring. I felt that my pants had become a little too tight during the winter and wanted help. Found Bodily and signed up in June for the August start. The Changer was a challenge in every way. I followed the program to the letter. I got a lot of support in my group, and many of us have continued with Bodily, both in the continuation programs and in Team Bodily.

I'm a loner, but I enjoy exercising and encouraging the community. It suits me perfectly.

I became super strong by doing The Changer, it worked! However, I felt an emptiness when the program was over and chose to engage in Team Bodily as a Mentor at the same time as I jumped on The Balancer in January. Being part of Team Bodily gave me an extra push, both with my own training but also my personal development. To help others and get appreciation for it is fantastic. The members of the team lift and carry each other.

For the April start, I chose The CardioI love to run, but I have never learned how to get better at it. Now for my finish, after ten weeks of interval training mixed with long runs and strength training, I set a personal best for 5 km by two minutes. It works! While running The Cardio, I was an assistant coach in a new amazing The Changer group.

Now it's summer with Bodily and I'm looking forward to coaching a new group of The Changer in August.

Was it difficult to change your diet?

I love being given a schedule to follow. Then I follow it to the letter without any problems. Ten weeks go by quickly and the cravings disappear. It's not hard to change your diet, but it's hard to find the balance after The Changer. Now I have found a balance that suits me.

Do you have a favorite recipe?

My favorite recipe is the fish stew in the oven with olives. I boil it up and top it with shrimp. After that, I add Greek yogurt, warm raspberries and granola as a crunchy topping.

Why did you choose to become a coach?

Being involved in Bodily, becoming part of the team gives more back. It is fun to help others succeed together. The team spirit is huge and I learn a lot all the time. We develop in our leadership, we help and support each other. Our common goal is to help as many people as possible to reach their strongest self. Following new participants on our own journey is so much fun. We know how they feel and we can give them the right kind of encouragement.

A question I often get is: Isn't it hard to deal with all the food? (It seems like a hassle to cook for the family). My answer to all of them is that you have to put in the effort to get the results. What does not challenge you cannot change you. In the beginning it takes longer in the kitchen, but when you're used to it and the routines are established, it's no problem.

Now it's just a pleasant chore to prepare your snacks. I make lunches for work and keep them in the freezer. Today's dinner is adapted for the whole family.

Many people ask me if it's expensive. I answer: When you take The Changer, you save money!

Anna Setterberg, coach i Team Bodily

Coach Anna

I am Anna Setterberg, 47 years old and live in Solna. Married and mother of three boys aged 16, 13 and 9. Personnel scientist and has been working as a recruitment consultant for many years.

Anything special about you?

I have a very good memory. I remember details/people/events which has proven to be very good in my work but also in general when I am with people. I'm a good listener and I remember, which my husband, among others, finds difficult because I know exactly what was said and promised.😊

How did you find Bodily?

I went to another similar program and then quickly started my account on Instagram (nowadays @choices_by_Annabodily). So many friends and encouragement I got by sharing my journey and quickly saw the importance of the community. I soon found Jane Haglund who went to another program and I became curious as she shared recipes and training that looked so professional. I started to follow Bodily's account and also Karin's account and eventually I was ready to start. The Changer.

How has your journey been?

My journey is not straight and also not finished. I got Covid during The Changer and thus it did not turn out quite as planned. I also don't have the routine or training behind me like many others I've met here. I entered as untrained and overweight. However, I went out with the conviction that only if I WANT to, I have found the tools after so many years of searching. How I should eat to feel good and what my body needs to be strong. With that knowledge, I continue to work towards becoming my strongest self, while also having the opportunity to follow YOUR journey once you decide!

What is your favorite exercise?

Battle ropes every day of the week. To be able to go all out and push without coordination etc. Complete training for the whole body.

How does Bodily work in everyday life?

It has become a routine to eat 6 times a day, it's like a little clock now. The workouts are easy and don't take very long, which makes it easier for me, who may not love exercise by nature. But they are manageable and daily exercises are done with ease in between.

Have you inspired others around you?

From the beginning, I have shared my journey with friends, family and on Instagram. Many people have appreciated the fact that I share reality to a large extent, that it is not always easy for me to do all the exercises or that I have a challenge with my diet from time to time. This has meant that people have contacted me who were afraid that the training is too hard and the diet too strict and wanted to try it themselves. I usually recommend them to try it, because even if they only make a few changes, there will be big gains in the long run. Not everyone's journey is straightforward, but it's still our journey.

What do you like about being part of Team Bodily? What is it like to support the participants on their journey?

I love being part of this team. Seeing the participants' journeys and being inspired by their will gives me so much back. Acknowledging their thoughts and reflections and supporting them. Many are unfamiliar with the movements, training and diet. Many apologize for doing push-ups on their knees or not being as strong as others. Here we make a difference and make them feel that they are not alone, we are many who have been there and understand. And it is possible to adapt to the conditions of the day and be satisfied with it, I want to instill that in the participants because I have been told that by Karin so often. We do what we can with the conditions we have for the day. And are satisfied and proud of it. Tomorrow is a new day with perhaps different conditions.

So, this team. Consists of "ordinary" people who are passionate about helping people move forward and dare to continue on the path they have chosen by signing up. I was given the opportunity to become a mentor because they saw me watching other participants while I was on my own journey. I encouraged others and grew from it. I get to feel valuable even though I'm not the most experienced in strength training or running. I'm just someone who wants to feel better and see what I can do - and now I get to follow others doing the same.

Maria Lidqvist, coach i Team Bodily

Coach Maria

Maria Lidqvist, 41, Habo, works as a Business Controller. She is married to Daniel, two children Luella 9 years and Celine 6 years.

Tell us something special about yourself!

I always try to think positive and live in the moment! Works well most of the time, except when I'm hungry. Then I have no patience.

How did you find Bodily for the first time?

Through a friend who did The Changer and achieved such great results.

How has your "journey" been?

It was an adjustment with the diet, with significantly smaller portions and having to cook so much food and snacks. But I quickly got into it and then found that it went relatively smoothly!

Today I do the "Bodily diet" during the week and "completely free" with the diet at the weekend. It works very well! There are good dishes and it is so nice with even blood sugar during the day.

I have continued with the training even after the programs. There will be both daily exercises, abdominal training one day a week and two HIIT sessions per week. Has become a good balance!

Now I feel stronger than ever before in my life and my back pain has become so much better! I am so happy and proud of my results. Imagine that you can feel so good and so strong at my age!

What is your favorite exercise?

Training has always been fun. I think the training with battle ropes is both fun and effective! It's my favorite.

How does Bodily work in your everyday life?

I use the knowledge about nutrition that I learned during The Changer and eat like that in everyday life. I have continued to train in the same way as during The Changer. It works well and is fun. I have such good routines - thanks to Bodily!

Have you inspired others around you?

I have several friends and colleagues who ask about both the diet and the training. Some have signed up for Bodily!

What do you like about being part of Team Bodily? What is it like to support the participants on their journey?

I try to inspire others to feel better so that they too can become "their strongest self". Trying to encourage participants that they can do more than they think!

Emma Lantz, coach i Team Bodily

Coach Emma

Emma Lantz, 39 years old, lives in Habo just outside Jönköping. Married. Three daughters aged 7, 9 and 11.

Tell us something special about yourself!

I have a dream of becoming a police officer one day. I have surfed in Hawaii, gone off-piste in Whistler Canada and love to drive jet skis, go boating and lock the Göta Canal.

What is the best thing about Bodily?

The best thing about Bodily is the overall concept and the personal meeting with all the wonderful people.

How has your "journey" been?

I joined The Changer in April 2021, entering the program with a tough background of 10-15 years of chronic pain. A few weeks into the program, I had already gotten rid of my IBS in my stomach and pain in my body and joints. I felt refreshed and strong, and a better wife/mother and finally got to experience what it was like to be pain free. No more chronic migraines!

Was it difficult to change your diet?

It wasn't easy at first - but so worth it. I quickly got into the new routine. I used to have a huge sugar addiction so it was tough at times, but as time went on in the program, the sugar cravings disappeared.

Do you have a favorite recipe?

Salmon steaks and turkey/chicken bolognese - every day of the week!

Why did you choose to become a coach?

I love being able to inspire other people to make the same journey as I did and if I can help someone change their life to a healthier one, it's worth it!

You know you can get more tips and advice from Emma and our other coaches?

Helena Angetun, coach i Team Bodily

Coach Helena

Helena Angetun is 50 years old and works in schools with break activities with a focus on promoting student health. Lives in Hägersten, and has two children who are 15 and 19 years old.

How did you first find Bodily?

Through a friend who inspired me.

How has your "journey" been?

It has not been straightforward, but I think it's like changes in general - they take time and need to take time!

What is your favorite exercise?

Jumping jacks.

How does Bodily work in your everyday life?

They are good routines that are easy to get back to if you happen to fall out of them. For example, the daily exercise - do it where you are and get it done. Doesn't take much time and doesn't require equipment or a gym.

Have you inspired others around you?

Yes, several friends on social media have been inspired. Two of them have already signed up for Bodily.

What do you like about being part of Team Bodily? What is it like to support the participants on their journey?

It's valuable for me to encourage and coach others who are on the same journey as me. I feel that I want to contribute based on my own journey and also as a running coach.

To work as a team to get more people to make a lifestyle change is absolutely fantastic. Having the opportunity to discuss things with each other in the team is great, we all have different experiences and can complement each other in e.g. a training post.

Hannah Mörlid, coach i Team Bodily

Coach Hannah

Hannah Mörlid is 43 years old and lives in Partille. She is a singing and music teacher and has two children, 11 and 13 years old.

How did you find Bodily for the first time?

I heard about it from a friend. She said that she had given herself this training journey as a present. I was encouraged by that and joined the same journey.

What has your "journey" been like?

When I did The Changer 1.5 years ago, it was a struggle at times to get the discipline right. But I was determined to push on and invest this in myself. I don't regret one day that I made that decision!

What is the best thing about being in Bodily?

The best thing about Bodily is, above all, that I have found home training. It is so easy and flexible to have all my training in the app. I can train wherever I want and whenever I want, while someone tells me what to do. And we are so good at encouraging each other in the app!

What have you learned with Bodily?

Through Bodily, I have learned that some exercise is better than no exercise! Better five push-ups than none at all. I have gained a good structure and balance on both training and diet, which in turn has had a positive effect on health in the form of better sleep, better routines, focus, joy, etc.

How does Bodily work in your everyday life?

I get a new training plan every week containing both daily exercises, abdominal exercises and various HIIT sessions. We have an active community in the app where we can plan our training, encourage each other and share ideas. I have found a good balance with the diet and now cook mostly "Bodilyinspired" food on my own.

What do you like about being part of Team Bodily?
What is it like to support the participants on their journey?

We are a wonderful team who are all passionate about helping people feel better. It is both fun and inspiring to encourage and coach participants on their journey to become a stronger self!

What is your favorite exercise?

I really love working out with the rope! The whole body gets activated. But I like everything: rubber bands, weights, running or just using my body as a tool.

Favorite recipe?

My favorite recipes are probably the Salmon Steaks and Chili Shrimp with Zucchini Spaghetti. For snacks, I like to choose cottage cheese with granola!

Emma Jordell, coach i Team Bodily

Coach Emma Jordell

My name is Emma Jordell, I am 35 years old and live with my husband and three children (feels like many more sometimes 😅) in Sköndal in southern Stockholm. I work as an economist and a little extra as a cycling instructor at Sats. I love to exercise and get to redo and fix at home.

Tell us something special about yourself!

I am a control freak.

What is the best thing about Bodily?

Especially the results it gives if you stick to the plan. But also the community, the recipes, the training, the whole thing.

How has your "journey" been?

I've learned a lot about myself and my body and got a lot of good tools to use in everyday life.

Was it difficult to change your diet?

Yes, to some extent. Or it wasn't difficult, but a little messy sometimes with many wills in the family and several meals to prepare.

Do you have a favorite recipe?

Love poke bowl, banana pancakes and anything with avocado! The banana ice cream is gold too. Unfortunately, I can't choose a recipe.

Why did you choose to become a coach?

Initially I had another role, but after a defection I became a coach and am so incredibly happy and grateful for it today! I love leading people and making them feel good, whether it's at work, during a training session at Sats or in Bodily.

I also love to see a group move forward, develop and push them in the right direction. I love pep and joy and believe that you get so far with it. If people feel good, they can perform at their best for much longer!

Tell us about your "worst" training session

It was probably when I instructed my very first Bodypump class ten or twelve years ago. I was SO nervous that my legs were shaking and I never thought I would come out the other side.

How has your "journey" been?

It's been up and down. The first program - The Changer - was fantastic! I am an "all in" personality so that kind of program suited me perfectly. In the other programs, I have not been 100% compliant but have changed my diet, exercise regularly and prioritize daily exercises. So it's safe to say that my year with Bodily has really changed my life.

What is your favorite exercise?

Rope exercises and burpees.

How does Bodily work in your everyday life?

It has worked well. It's all about planning, which we do in so many other situations in our daily lives anyway, so that part doesn't have to be so complicated.

Have you inspired others around you?

Through my way of living and changing my life, I have positively influenced others. I have been visible on social media which also affects people around me.

What do you like about being part of Team Bodily? What is it like to support the participants on their journey?

Being able to mentor new members has been great fun! Getting the chance to influence other people towards a healthier health and lifestyle is wonderful. I love being part of a team that makes the journey together. Getting support from "colleagues" and being able to ask for tips and advice in different situations. But also to guide others together. It's so much fun!!!

CHarlotte Persson, coach i Team Bodily

Coach Charlotte

Charlotte Persson, 37 years old, pediatric nurse at the child and youth rehabilitation, lives in Bunn, in the countryside between Gränna and Jönköping, with her husband and two children.

Tell us something special about yourself!

I dream of getting a degree in food and nutrition.

How did you first find Bodily?

Through my sister-in-law and a friend who thought Bodily would be something for me. And how right they were!

What has your "journey" been like?

My start with Bodily has not been straightforward. I had a worn out and tired body after a period of serious illness and had no faith that I could cope with the new training. My interest in nutrition made me focus on changing my dietary habits and focusing on the exercises I could do.

I struggled with the training and eventually I managed more and more. Today I am more alert and feel so much better, I sleep better, have less pain in my body and have tools to manage my physical and mental health.

To finally feel better and feel how I am getting stronger makes me so grateful and proud! My journey with Bodily has no end, this is my new lifestyle.

What is your favorite exercise?

Thanks to Bodily, I have been sold on running.

How does Bodily work in your everyday life?

Everyday life with Bodily works well. I feel good and am helped by the food and exercise routines.

What would you say to new participants in Bodily?

That they can do more than they think and that they are stronger than they think! Believe in yourself!

Have you inspired others around you?

Yes, and I think it has been because they have seen me feel so much better.

What do you like about being part of Team Bodily?

The community and togetherness. So grateful for all the new training friends I have made through Bodily.

How did you find Bodily for the first time?

Through a friend.

How has your "journey" been?

Up and down. I've always exercised, but wanted to learn more about nutrition. I have always had a complicated relationship with food and through Bodily I have learned to eat regularly and well.

What is your favorite exercise?

Squats and rowing exercises.

How does Bodily work in your everyday life?

Very well, as long as you plan your meals. Then it works great.

How have you changed after Bodily?

I have learned how to run and have been inspired to run again. It does so much for my mental health.

Have you inspired others around you?

I hope I have, I encourage my family and colleagues to do the do daily and belly runs.

What do you like about being part of Team Bodily?

I love encouraging others and especially when it comes to exercise which is something that is a big part of my everyday life. It is so great to see when someone who is struggling breaks through and doesn't give up.

Hanna Ohlin, coach i Team Bodily

Coach Hanna O

Hanna Ohlin, 33, pediatric nurse from Jönköping, two children and husband.

Tell us something special about yourself!

I have always been jealous of everyone who loves to run. Thanks to Bodily I am now there too!

How did you find Bodily for the first time?

Through Instagram.

How has your "journey" been?

Started my Bodily journey in the fall of 2021 with The Changer and loved the whole concept. Simple training that suits a mother of small children in the middle of life! Have after that run The Balancer during the spring while being involved and cheering on new participants.

What is your favorite exercise?

Running!

How does Bodily work in your everyday life?

Perfectly! The diet is simple and tasty. The children eat mostly the same with small additions! I have time to exercise when the children are usually with me, which is a plus.

Have you inspired others around you?

Several people I know have opened their eyes to Bodily and signed up for the fall.

What do you like about being part of Team Bodily? What is it like to support the participants on their journey?

It is easy as a mentor to encourage new participants when you know that the concept works if it is followed. Believe in yourself and your journey. It is great fun to see others succeed!

Katarina Permgård, coach i Team Bodily

Coach Katarina

My name is Katarina Permgård, I am 59 years old and live in Genarp outside Lund. I am a mother of two adult sons. When we meet, I am the tiny one in the company despite my 176 cm above sea level. I have a degree in economics and work as a financial and personnel manager. Exercise is and has always been a natural part of my life.

Tell us something special about yourself!

I'm good at sewing, and over the years I've made both wedding dresses and a number of prom dresses.

How did you first find Bodily?

I found Bodily through posts that a good friend wrote when she did The Changer.

How has your "journey" been?

I have found home. :-)

What is your favorite exercise?

The plank is my favorite. Here I am strong and very enduring.

How does Bodily work in your everyday life?

Bodily works perfectly in my everyday life. The diet and exercise - which I supplement with running and cycling - suit me and my life perfectly. I feel strong and my stomach feels great.

Have you inspired others around you?

I am not very good at social media, but what I have posted has resulted in questions about Bodily. And I've taken the opportunity to talk about the program. I know that friends of mine signed up last spring and also for the Summer Special. It feels great.

What do you like about being part of Team Bodily? What is it like to support the participants on their journey?

I like the warm and inclusive feeling in the team and in the training groups. It is a gift to follow the development of others, to be able to encourage and support them in their journey and challenges. It gives me inspiration and motivation.

What is your favorite dish in Bodily's recipe bank?

Bean and lentil stew. It is so incredibly tasty. Can be varied and eaten every day of the week. Yummy!

Erik Perez, coach i Team Bodily

Coach Erik

Hello!!! My name is Erik Perez and I am originally from Mexico. I am married to Serena Mery and we have two young children.

I have trained swimming and then worked as a jumper in different amusement parks in several countries and that's how I came to Sweden.

A couple of years ago I graduated as a civil engineer here in Sweden. Now I'm working as a draftsman at Götenehus.

In January I started the Changer and then I got hooked on Bodily programs after both seeing and experiencing the great results.

Tell us something special about yourself, e.g. something that not everyone knows.

During my career as a swim jumper I have jumped from 25 meters hundreds of times 🤩 so heights are no problem for me. 😜

What is the best thing about Bodily?

That if you follow your program and trust it, you get good results!

How has your "journey" been?

It started with The Changer and now I'm here as a mentor.

Was it difficult to change your diet?

In the beginning, yes, when you struggle to remove the bad eating habits.

Do you have a favorite recipe?

Japanese chicken!

Why did you choose to become a coach?

I have worked as a coach before in swimming and I enjoy helping others achieve their goals. And since I lead trainings and coach others, it's great that I can also be a role model for a healthy lifestyle.

Serena Mery, coach i Team Bodily

Coach Serena

My name is Serena, I am 35 years old, married to Erik Perez and we have two children, 16 and 13 years old. For the past two years we have been living in the countryside outside Skövde. I have a degree in economics from the Gothenburg School of Economics and a master's degree in international logistics and supply chains and I work as European Purchasing Category Manager for Logistics at Autoliv.

Tell us something special about yourself!

I played tennis at an elite level when I was younger. And before we moved back to Skövde, we (Erik, the kids and I) lived in Mexico for three years, where I studied my master's degree, it was a great experience! I also think it's great fun to go inline skating.

What is the best thing about Bodily?

The community!

How has your "journey" been?

When I signed up to Bodily, I was honestly not entirely convinced that "it would work". I have tried so many different things and always fell back to poor diet and no exercise... But after more than a year with Bodily, I can say that I am changed inside-out. I have a completely different mindset about diet, exercise and rest and I love it! It's simply a healthy way to live.

Was it difficult to change your diet?

For me, everything new is exciting, which was to my advantage. Then it takes discipline to decide to change the diet, but you get all the good recipes and tips so in that way it was not difficult.

Do you have a favorite recipe?

The cherry smoothie!

Why did you choose to become a coach?

It may sound cliché, but I am motivated by helping others achieve their goals. If my experience can help you, I'm happy to share it!

Do you have any advice for those starting a Bodily program?

To decide to trust the process, complete the program and stick with it.

Catharina Östberg, coach i Team Bodily

Coach Catharina

Catharina, 56 years old, works in a management position. Lives in an apartment in central Stockholm. Has at times worked too much over the years and with Nordic responsibility there is a lot of traveling. When her sons left home with the onset of menopause, she quickly gained a lot of extra pounds with only sandwiches on the dinner menu (and an ice cream in front of the TV since she hardly ate anything during the day).

Tell us something special about yourself!

Despite my lack of training background, I have done both the Half and Full Classic (a Swedish Classic) but I am most proud of having climbed Uhuru peak on Kilimanjaro.

How did you find Bodily for the first time?

Through Facebook and a fit friend who showed me how much better you can feel with the right food.

How has your "journey" been?

Wonderful! With low confidence in the kitchen and a lack of inspiration for cooking, I suddenly felt like a king in the kitchen thanks to all the simple but varied and delicious recipes.

Exercise was hard, but fun, and easy to do. After a week with Bodily, I wrote in my diary: "I'm working again! Haven't felt this good in I don't know when. Eyes sparkling, brain working, not hungry and not full. And I'm not yawning, I feel alert all day. I miss nothing and am happy to taste spices again".

Furthermore, the numbness and tingling in my fingers disappeared and I sleep better and am rarely - and less - angry. I became, thanks to Bodily, simply a woman I enjoy hanging out with more.

What is your favorite exercise?

I probably don't have a favorite exercise but I mostly like the variety! That I get workouts that I have to complete before a special day. It is not open to the lazy person's constant search for opportunities to cheat.

How does Bodily work in your everyday life?

Saved a lot of food money on the planning required, no longer shopping randomly when you're hungry on the go or taking the easy way out with takeaway food. More food boxes, and planning, are needed for days at the office and on business trips. Get tips from the coaches on how to do this on a business trip. At home, when I cook dinner with family and friends, I don't salt the food, but put the salt on the table for those who want it and, for example, rice for those who want it.

Have you inspired others around you?

By sharing the results of 10 weeks of Bodily in picture format. Sharing my post-menopausal problems that disappeared with Bodily. To show that it is possible, that we should not give up because we have become gray-haired, plump and turned 50.

What is it like to support participants on their journey?

I know how easy it is to give up because of stress, other commitments where you have a lower priority. It's a joy to be part of it and shout cheers and "don't give up!" when your energy is low. To be involved and try to simplify, make the journey easier to do. The bonus is when you hear about the joy of others, when pain or other physical problems disappear, as they did for me.

What keeps your friends who are inspired from joining Bodily?

There is a fear that you will be "bad" at training and then I just want to say that it is not about being good or bad at the exercises. It is about YOUR health and the most important thing is that the training is done. Fuck what others think. Think about yourself and feel better.

Others "know" that a diet works only as long as you go on the diet. My answer is that Bodily is NOT a diet. It is a lifestyle choice. Eating little and often, avoiding unnecessary sugar is good for everyone.

After 10 weeks on Bodily, we will take what we have learned into everyday life to continue good habits but also be able to eat the cake at the party or toast the champagne.

Bodily is not a slimming program that you do 10 weeks and then go back to everyday life as it was before. Bodily is a permanent lifestyle change for those who want to take care of their body to do what they can for a more holistic health.

Matilda Bennedicks, coach i Team Bodily

Coach Matilda

Matilda, 30, has been living in Australia for seven years with her husband and two children. She loves being active and exercising and has always had a great interest in exercise and nutrition. Went through her first Bodily program in early 2022.

It gave me an incredible amount and I have since continued my journey by participating in The Amplifier and participating as a mentor in The Changer.

Tell us something special about yourself!

I am a planner, making all the meals/meals of the week every Sunday.

How did you find Bodily for the first time?

Through a friend.

How has your "journey" been?

It has been incredibly educational and has given me results that I could only dream of.

What is your favorite exercise?

The plank.

How does Bodily work in your everyday life?

I love planning and laying out the week ahead, so Bodily works incredibly well.

Have you inspired others around you?

I haven't gotten to the stage where I've gotten anyone else to join the program but I have gotten people to become more active on their own.

What do you like about being part of Team Bodily? What is it like to support participants on their journey?

I'm in Team Bodily because I really find a great interest in exercise and nutrition. The approach that Bodily has is something I really believe in and do myself whether I am on one of the programs or not. It has really become my lifestyle.

Supporting the participants is incredibly fun at the same time as it can sometimes be a little hard but very educational. You learn so much more than just training, such as reading people and their need for support along the way.

Josephine BJörklund, coach i Team Bodily

Coach Josephine B

Josephine Björklund, 44, Stockholm, has worked as a dance teacher for over 20 years.

What is the best thing about Bodily?

I think thatt both the structure for both diet and exercise works very well in my life. The food is so good that it does not involve any major sacrifices for me, but rather I am reminded to eat often and varied, which I feel good about. In training, there is such a good variety of exercises that I feel that I develop strength throughout my body.

What has your "journey" been like?

My journey was obvious in a way. There was a ready-made plan when I felt that I had lost rhythm, direction and motivation. It was a bit like being lifted up on a rail and then it felt quite easy to just keep going. Nevertheless, I was amazed at how big a change there was in my energy and sharpness. I suddenly had more energy than I had thought. I'm not talking about the number of push-ups or kilometers on the track, but rather the feeling of being alert and able to focus.

Was it difficult to change your diet?

No, not at all, it was rather delightful. All my favorite flavors are in the recipes. However, in the beginning I missed bread, but now I have a more balanced approach to it.

Do you have a favorite recipe?

It varies all the time and right now I would probably say that fish burgers with zucchini salad is the top one. In late September, Dahl lentil stew will be my top tip for a warming lunchbox. I The Summer Special I enjoyed the halloumi with sweet potatoes and kale.

Why did you choose to become a coach?

I am curious and want to learn more by being inspired by others. This happens automatically both through our meetings in the team and with all participants.

What motivates you?

I am nerdily interested in movement and especially quality in movement. I can spend any amount of time searching for optimal precision and coordination in a movement. I am almost completely uninterested in personal records and speed tests. I am always looking for an experience of optimal balance, coordination or posture.

She studied to become a system scientist (engineer) and has a master's degree from Uppsala University. She works as a development manager/unit manager in IT.

Tell us something special about yourself!

I have played football with Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

How did you find Bodily the first time?

Coach Jane Haglund works in my team at work, and it was she who introduced me to Bodily.

How has your "journey" been?

The Changer was easy! It was easy to follow the plan - both in terms of diet and exercise. I lost 16 kg and became 500% stronger! Then the hard part started to find the balance in the continuation programs. Now I've gained a few pounds, but I'm still stronger than ever! I started running in August 2021 - thanks to Bodily - and less than a year later ran the Stockholm Marathon, finishing in about 4:30. Wow!

What is your favorite exercise?

Running.

How does Bodily work in your everyday life?

Very well! Even the kids like the Bodily recipes!

Have you inspired others around you?

I have had five people sign up for Bodily's program.

What do you like about being part of Team Bodily? What is it like to support the participants on their journey?

It's inspiring and fun! It's a way for me to keep my own inspiration to keep exercising and eating right!

Nina Bergström, coach i Team Bodily

Coach Nina

Nina Bergström, 41, lives in Karlstad with her husband and seven-year-old son, plus two bonus children aged 19 and 21 who stayed in Stockholm when we moved to Värmland. My work is driven by improving protection against accidents, for you, at a government agency. Platitudes?! but that's what I think of when I work for an equal protection against accidents in Sweden no matter where you live or where you are. My specialty is to analyze and transform data into something that describes a risk picture.

Tell us something special about yourself!

Within a year, I hope we have a dog in the house again.

What is the best thing about Bodily?

That you get tools and support for a sustainable relationship with food, i.e. that it is not just a 10-week change but a continuation to find a balance.

How has your "journey" been?

Like all journeys, it goes up and down, where especially work and private life affect. "Change is hard at first, messy in the middle and gorgeous at the end" - quote by Robin Sharma.

The hardest part for me was during "The Balancer" trying to find a balance.

Was it difficult to change your diet?

No, I have tried so many different ways of eating and I don't find it difficult to begin with. The difficult thing is to keep a change and mindset, ie it is not difficult with "what I eat" but more "how I eat".

Do you have a favorite recipe?

Protein latte as a snack and sweet potatoes with chicken and curry as a meal.

Why did you choose to become a coach?

Because I get to inspire and I get inspired. It simply gives me energy.

Mariana Johansson, coach i Team Bodily

Coach Mariana

Mariana Johansson, originally from Mexico but I moved to Sweden for love. I am 43 years old, have two daughters and am a high school teacher.

How did you find Bodily for the first time?

I heard about Bodily through a friend who was also in the same situation as me, we both wanted to make a change in our lives. We talked about it and I joined together with my friend. Started with Bodily in April 2021.

How has your "journey" been?

After a long period of fatigue, overweight and poor dietary habits and almost no exercise, my journey with Bodily began. Tough in the beginning of course, but eventually I saw results and it gave me the motivation to continue. I realized that I could do more than I thought and that it was possible to feel good, feel more alert and stronger in a short time - only 10 weeks of my life changed everything. Therefore, I have continued to maintain the Bodily routines that I have learned with diet and exercise as much as possible for a more sustainable lifestyle and well-being.

What is your favorite exercise?

Working out with the rope has been a challenge. To dare to test your limits in strength and to give everything in every stroke has made me release so much stress and gained a lot of endorphins that made me feel fantastic afterwards.

How does Bodily work in your everyday life?

After a while with Bodily, it becomes more and more natural to make important dietary choices. You already know what should be in your fridge and pantry. You follow the plan more naturally. As for exercise, it's a must to get it done regardless of the time, I usually exercise early in the morning before work. This makes me more efficient for the rest of the day.

Have you inspired others around you?

When someone sees your physical and emotional change and asks, well, then it's obvious that I take the opportunity to tell them about Bodily. That's the best proof of inspiration.

What do you like about being part of Team Bodily? What is it like to support the participants on their journey?

The best thing about being in Team Bodily is seeing the participants' willingness to make a change in their lives regardless of the situation they are in. It is so cool to see their development during the process and results.

Anna Granström, coach i Team Bodily

Coach Anna

Anna Granström, 42, lives a little outside Stockholm, has two children and works as a lawyer at a government agency responsible for health, medical, care and dental issues.

What is the best thing about Bodily?

It's a sustainable, balanced lifestyle that makes me feel really good.

What has your 'journey' been like?

From a moderate skeptic to a believer. I was really happy with the results after The Changer, but that was just the beginning. For me, Bodily is no longer a journey, but the destination, i.e. how I live and want to live.

Was it difficult to change your diet?

Not really. A lot was what I was already eating. For example, I've been a vegetarian for 30 years. However, it was unusual to eat breakfast, and to eat smaller meals. However, I got into it quite quickly.

Do you have a favorite recipe?

The salmon steaks! And mug cake, sweet potato omelette and of course Greek yogurt. 😋

Why did you choose to become a coach?

I was a mentor and automatically became an assistant coach. I wanted to join the team because I felt such euphoria after The Changer. I wanted to encourage and help others! Really interested in the diet too and experimenting with it.

Edward Edde De Forest, coach i Team Bodily

Coach Edward

Edward de Forest. Known as Edde. 47 years old. Lives in Frösunda in Solna with my partner. Has four children, 19, 16, 5 and 2 years old. Works as a teacher in mathematics and science at Noblaskolan Solna.

Anything special about you?

My little sister Emmelie won Eurovision 2013 for Denmark.

How did you find Bodily?

Through Karin's Facebook and Instagram because we are friends there.

How has your journey been?

My journey has been amazing. I have lost some unnecessary kilos but above all I have become so much stronger and got a better posture. I have previously had recurring back problems and these have decreased significantly now. I have also gained a better self-confidence when it comes to my body, which I otherwise had complexes about. Now I dare to take off my shirt in the summer again.😃

Favorite training exercise?

The ropes are my favorite. There are so many different exercises and you really train the whole body with them.😃💪🏼

How does Bodily work in everyday life?

Excellent. Despite work and small children, it is very easy to squeeze a workout into everyday life because it requires so little. I do all my training at home on our patio or indoors. Many times my small children are with me during the training and it goes very well.😃

Have you inspired others around you?

Yes, I have. Several people at my work have signed up, as well as family and friends. They mainly look at me and my results and hear me talk about all the positive things about Bodily.

What do you like about being part of Team Bodily? What is it like to support participants on their journey?

Being part of Team Bodily is great. You get so much help and inspiration from each other. It is so much fun to encourage the participants to reach their goals and you are so happy when they are satisfied with their own achievements and that you have been a small part of their journey. I know how much encouragement can mean when things are a bit more difficult.

  1. I run runstreak and is today on day 134. /Janne's comment that the Runstreak will be interrupted (or many days more than 134 days long) when this is published.
  2. I breastfed my middle child for almost three years.

How did you find Bodily the first time?

It was my husband who found Bodily through friends on social media and asked if we should go together.

What has your 'journey' been like?

I was feeling really bad about my sedentary lifestyle and poor eating habits after another difficult pregnancy and felt I needed help and guidance.

So I started Bodily when my baby was about four months old and loved it from the start! Ten weeks passed without any major problems and I felt stronger and more flexible and a more fun and happy mom and wife.

Since I am breastfeeding, I have skipped metaboozt, which I look forward to trying in the future.

What is your favorite exercise?

Dead bug and running.

How does Bodily work in your everyday life?

Perfectly! If I don't eat enough in the mornings, I eat all evening.

Bodily has taught me to have an extra meal in the morning, which keeps me balanced throughout the day.

Have you inspired others around you?

Yes, several people have seen my pictures and videos on social media and also tried Bodily with good results! I have then helped and supported during the journey, which people have seemed to appreciate.

What do you like about being part of Team Bodily? How is it to support the participants on their journey?

It's so much fun to see people go from questioning everything in detail (just like I did at the beginning of my first program) to being super happy with their results after 10 weeks!

There is also such a great sense of community and you can be honest about your own situation in life.
